This project takes place twice a year through public spaces, using the streets and parks of the historic downtown as stages to showcase our culture, gastronomy, traditions, and more. In this way, it is presented to the entire community and visitors alike. Public spaces come alive to the fullest, since all events are completely free and feature extended hours throughout the entire night. This May 22nd and 23rd, the 20th edition will be held.

The 2026 edition will feature more than 210 cultural activities, over 1,000 artists, more than 80 venues, and an artistic corridor stretching more than 5 kilometers from La Ermita to the Monumento a la Patria.
Among the featured activities are:
Free concerts, videomapping, gallery tours, theater and dance performances, immersive experiences, urban art interventions, literature and cinema, digital art, and contemporary exhibitions.
Concerts and Artists
One of the most anticipated events will be the free concert by Bacilos at Plaza Grande to close the night. Other featured performers include Chico Che Chico, Los Juglares, and orchestras from Mérida performing music from anime, movies, and video games.
What makes La Noche Blanca truly special is the opportunity to walk through the entire historic center and discover art on every corner: musicians in parks, street performances, museums open until dawn, lively cafés, visual artists, and an atmosphere filled with cultural nightlife.

The most active areas are usually:
La Ermita, San Juan, Plaza Grande, Santa Lucía, Santa Ana, Paseo de Montejo, Remate de Paseo de Montejo, and Monumento a la Patria.
